Representation Theory Seminar, winter semester 2022/23
This is the website for the seminar on highest weight
categories and tilting theory.
Content:
Highest weight categories, cellular categories, tilting modules and related
concepts play important roles in modern representation theory. In this seminar,
we will study these concepts from the viewpoint of examples that are relevant
for quantum topology.
This seminar is mainly aimed at Masters and advanced Bachelor students in
Mathematics and Mathematical Physics.
Prerequisites: Advanced Algebra (essential) and Lie algebras (recommended).
Coordinates:
There was a preparatory meeting on 23rd August 2022. Currently, there are
two more talks available. If you are interested in participating, please get in
contact via email. On 18th October, there will be another (optional) preparatory
meeting in Room 435, Geomatikum. The first talk will be on 1st November 2022.
The seminar is scheduled to be held in person:
- Tuesday, 12:15-13:45, Room 435, Geomatikum, 1st Nov 22 - 31st Jan 23
