Aaron Hofer
I am a PhD student in mathematics (since October 2022) at the
University of Hamburg and the Cluster of Excellence Quantum Universe
supervised by Prof. Dr. Ingo Runkel.
I am a part of the QU Student council as well as one of the
organisers of the Junior ZMP.
Research interests:
I am interested in the connections and interplay between mathematical physics, topology, representation theory, and (higher) category theory.
My research interests include:
- topological and conformal field theories
- quantum algebra (Hopf algebras, tensor categories, module categories, ... )
- defects and categorical symmetries in quantum field theories
