Fudan Trifft Hamburg 3 is the third of a series of exploratory workshops in the formal sciences and the
first one to focus on logic. The first two workshops took place in Shanghai (16 & 17 September 2016) and Hamburg
(27 & 28 October 2017) and focused on theoretical philosophy.
The third workshop is organised by the Arbeitsgruppe Mathematische Logik und
interdisziplinäre Anwendungen der Logik at the Department of Mathematics at the Universität Hamburg.
It is generously supported by the partner universities programme of the Universität Hamburg. Its main aim is
to explore joint interests of the logic groups in Hamburg and Shanghai in order to build a long term research
collaboration between the partner universities.
The original plan was to have the workshop at the Department of Mathematics of
the Universität Hamburg on Wednesday 13 May 2020 and in the Warburg-Haus in Hamburg on Thursday
14 May 2020. However, due to the global Covid-19 health crisis, this was not possible and the workshop is now postponed to the spring of 2021.
