Personal Information
Since November 2016 I am a Post-Doc in Prof. Dr. A. Iske's research group.
I am an associate member of the Research Training Group RTG 2583: “Modeling, Simulation and Optimization with Fluid Dynamic Applications”. I organize the Lothar Collatz Seminar.
From November 2016 to December 2020 I was part of the collaborative research center TRR 181 "Energy Transfers in Atmosphere and Ocean". Previously, until October 2016, I was a Post-Doc at the University of Trento (Italy).
Research
- Theoretical and numerical treatment of evolutionary PDEs, in particular hyperbolic conservation laws
- Numerical analysis of high order finite volume and discontinuous Galerkin methods
- generalized Riemann problems
- WENO schemes
- entropy stability
