IT group and student support staff ("Aufsichten")
Our IT group provides assistance together with our student support staff, the CIP pool attendants or "Aufsichten".
The IT group takes care of all computers and peripherals at the department of mathematics. Our work is everything from acquisition of devices, installation, and maintenance to user support for research and teaching and IT education for all staff. We support members of the department with their task of creating and maintaining their web sites. The IT group is your partner for all questions regarding IT and communication technologies.
The CIP pool "Aufsichten" are the first help for students, but they also provide 1st level support to employees and their guests. During opening hours of our CIP pools, the Aufsicht on duty will help you using the computes and printers in the pool. The CIP pools are open during the lecture period from Monday to Friday between 10am and 4pm, but often even at other times. Since the Aufsichten are students themselves and have to attend lectures, please understand that the office in room 146 is only staffed at certain times.
