Windows-Installation von Sophos für den FB Mathematik
Windows installation for UHH systems
Please download the installation program that has been configured for the Mathematics department, from the following internal website. You need to login with your Kerberos account. (unfortunately, this is not possible via the Chrome web browser, so please use Firefox instead):
Download of Math-Sophos-Client.exe
To check the integrity of the downloaded file, please use the program 7-Zip, which can be found on all Windows systems of the department:
Right click on the file -> 7-Zip -> CRC SHA -> SHA-256
SHA256 = a6493e33ea50c089fb9ed6060cdd905ca3e5e9e278212d0b2e6746ef8d6817ae
If the checksum is correct, you can start the file Math-Sophos-Client.exe by doubleclicking on it. At the beginning of the installation the system will be checked for a neccesary restart. If that is the case, please cancel the installation, restart your system and start the installation again by doubleclicking.

Following its possible that the restart of the computer is neccessarey. In that case cancel the installation process and after restarting the computer start the installation process again.

Meanwhile, an previous version of Sophos or any antivirus porgram installed otherwise will possibly be uninstalled.
